German grocery store chain Aldi has launched their own clothing line.

German grocery store chain Aldi has launched their own clothing line. As food brands get into the merch game and the pandemic gives athleisure an even bigger boost, Aldi is jumping on board with a line of sports and loungewear, featuring on-trend hoodies, pajamas, underwear, and socks. The line is part of the store’s cult Specialbuys section, a young consumer favorite for finding quirky items not usually found in the aisles of a grocery store. Upping the ante, “Aldi Mania,” as the line has been named, is being repped by ex-Love Island favorite and influencer Tommy Fury in the brand’s debut campaign. Aldi’s line comes along right as fellow German-owned grocery chain Lidl announced the rerelease of its popular super-cheap sneakers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Italy. With a retro look and 12.99€ price tag, the kicks fly off the shelves and have been known to reappear on eBay at a 200% markup. (CosmopolitanFashion United)
