HBO Max and Apple TV+ are investing in more animated kids’ content. Sure, HBO Max is leaning into more adult animation, but they haven’t forgotten about kids’ content. WarnerMedia announced that it is expanding its kid-friendly collection to include more content directed toward families, preschoolers, and six-11-year-olds, and they’re expected to bring over 300 hours of original content as well as 3,000 hours of premium content to its HBO Max and Cartoon Network brands. Meanwhile, Apple TV+ unveiled a slate of new kids’ content in partnership with Skydance Animation which will include animated films and a new show. (Cord Cutter News, Kidscreen)
