| PepsiCo is launching new juice water drinks especially for Gen Z teens. The company just announced Frutly, their line of “juice waters” aimed at teens. The drinks are made with fruit juice, water, and electrolytes, and have no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, and contain 60 calories per 12-fluid-ounce serving. They come in three flavors: strawberry kiwi, fruit punch, and apple grape and starting this month will be available in grocery stores across the country. According to the company, they want to appeal to teens looking for “flavorful hydration” while also meeting parents’ nutritional preferences. YPulse’s Comfort in the Kitchen trend report found that 43% of 13-19-year-olds drinking juice in an average weekday, while 77% drink water. (Food Dive) |
