Gen Z and Millennials still believe that they will be as successful as their parents.

Gen Z and Millennials still believe that they will be as successful as their parents. According to a survey from The Walton Foundation and Dynata, 85% of Gen Z believe they will be the same as or better off than their parents, while 74% of Millennials believe the same for themselves, compared to the only 8% and 16% who think they will be worse off. Gen Z is also more optimistic about their ability to have traditional success: Eighty-three percent of 13-17-year-olds believe they can achieve the “American dream” compared to 61% of 18-23-year-olds and 24-31-year-olds.
