Elf on the Shelf projects are coming to Netflix. The Elf on the Shelf has been a beloved holiday tradition for years, and now it’s coming to Netflix. In a massive deal, the streamer acquired rights to the company’s portfolio of brands, including the perennial best seller The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, Elf Pets, and Elf Mates. The streaming service is planning to develop live-action and animation content geared toward preschoolers and families through series and film. As a part of the deal, two of Lumistella’s existing animated short films will stream on the platform during the holiday season. (Deadline)
