The majority of Millennials have donated money during COVID. Yes, some (not all) young consumers took a financial hit during COVID, but many still found a way to donate during tough times. According to Zelle’s September Consumer Payment Behaviors report, 74% of 25-34-year-olds have sent some kind of financial aid to family or friends, or donated to a nonprofit since the pandemic began, while Gen Z followed at 66%. YPulse’s causes and charity report found that 62% of Millennials 25-39-years-old donated to a charitable organization in 2019. (CNBC)
