Gen Z is the “most creative” generation yet. According to a survey from Harris Poll, more than half of 13-23-year-olds (56%) consider themselves creative compared to 44% of those over the age of 24. According to Gen Z (or “Generation Create”), they are most inspired by music, social media, and social connections. They cite family and friends as their source of inspiration and are more likely to attribute social media and social activism as areas that fuel their creativity compared to previous generations. Listening to music, cooking, spending time alone, and gaming were among the top 10 activities that make them feel creative. Our research on hobbies and pastimes in quarantine found that 59% of 13-18-year-olds are listening to music during lockdown, while 36% are cooking and baking. (USA Today)
