Shopify is adding a virtual feature that will give young consumers an “immersive shopping experience.” Quarantined young consumers are creating retail’s new reality, and Shopify is the latest brand to ramp up their tools to provide a more “immersive shopping experience.” The ecommerce company will be integrating Hero technology into their platform to include features that mimic an “in-store experience,” like a video chat component that will let shoppers talk to store employees.
