Brands believe sustainability is actually good for business. Yes, climate change is still important to young consumers, and it seems as though more brands are taking sustainability seriously. According to a survey from global consulting firm Capgemini, 77% of company leaders say sustainability initiatives have increased consumer loyalty, while 69% said their programs have increased brand value and 63% indicated that it gave them a boost in revenue. More data revealed that 42% of consumers have changed their purchase preferences based on social, economic, or environmental impact, while 37% are open to the idea of shifting their shopping habits for those very reasons.
