Burger King teamed up with a craft brewer to create its own nonalcoholic beer. The burger chain partnered with “trendy” craft brewer Mikkeller to produce and add nonalcoholic summer beer “The King’s Cup” to the menu of their Sweden and Denmark locations. According to a Burger King marketing executive, they are excited to introduce something “completely new in the fast food business” by serving burgers and craft beer to a wider audience, and spread the message that “nonalcoholic beer actually can taste like “real” beer.” The brand is the latest to unexpectedly join the trend of brewing “beer” for Millennials.
