Young consumers want brands to help communities and laid off employees during the pandemic. Yesterday, we told you how brands are showing young consumers they care during COVID-19, and according to a 4A’s survey, 56% of consumers like hearing about how brands are taking actions to help their communities combat the virus. The same report showed that 62% of 18-24-year-olds and 60% of 25-34-year-olds think brands should provide paid time off for employees due to business closures—showing that Gen Z and Millennials see this as the most important action brands can take when it comes to helping.
