SpongeBob Squarepants is more in-demand than any other kid’s show in the U.S. According to a Parrot Analytics study, while Peppa Pig has become a favorite on a global level, Spongebob reigns in North America. The survey, which “measures social media interactions, social video views, online research for the shows and piracy numbers,” found that the Nickelodeon show is 117.26 times more in-demand than any other average series in the region. SpongBob Squarepants is in the top ten ranking of TV shows that Gen Z and Millennials tell YPulse are their favorite of all time—and no doubt their memes about the show are fueling that in-demand number.
