Sony is turning to TikTok to promote big movie releases. For Bad Boys For Life, the brand used their a new phone camera to make the “most epic TikTok ever made” featuring one of the film’s stars in a high-speed chase—and it generated more than 6 million views across three channels. Then, for Escape Room, Sony Pictures co-hosted a TikTok “Creator Event,” inviting 30 popular influencers from around the world to participate in escape room challenges and record their experiences for the film’s official page on the app. (PRNewswire, Mobile Marketer)
