Ikea is going after urban Millennial consumers—with convenience and delivery. Swedish retailer is unveiling new store concepts in Vienna and Queens, New York, both located by major transportation hubs. The new stores are eliminating parking spots altogether and offering customers more convenience: any big items that can’t be carried home will be delivered in 24 hours. The brand has been testing more ways to reach young consumers who live in cities, including testing a rental program and apt-friendly furniture. (Retail Dive)
