After the launch of Burberry’s deer hopping B Bounce and Hermès’ horseshoe throwing H-pitchhh, more upscale fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and Gucci have been trying innovative ways to reach young shoppers through games and AR. According to Burberry’s VP of digital marketing, “We know that gaming is mainstream. We know that it’s at the forefront for our consumer right now.” YPulse has found that 63% of 13-to-36-year-olds play mobile games weekly, and the majority of young consumers are gaming in some capacity.
