With products going viral and brands leaning into digital spending, it isn’t a surprise that fast food and high calorie snacks and drinks are dominating teens’ social media.

With products going viral and brands leaning into digital spending, it isn’t a surprise that fast food and high calorie snacks and drinks are dominating teens’ social media. A new survey of 12-17-year-olds found that 70% of young people engage with beverage and food companies on social media, and 93% of their interactions are with “unhealthy” products. Doritos, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Hershey, Snickers, and McDonald’s are the top brands they’re engaging with. (Food Navigator)
