Millennials are continuing to make moderation a trend, and “booze fatigue” is a motivation. While a lot of Millennials haven’t completely stopped drinking, many of them want to. Reasons behind the shift include wanting to be healthier, save money, or simply “being sick of drinking.” While previous generations had a “natural off ramp” to youthful drinking when they started families, Millennials’ infamous delay of life milestones has potentially also changed their relationship with alcohol. YPulse’s research on the trend found that 43% of 18-37-year-olds think people are being more careful about how much they drink these days. (The Atlantic)
