Screen time for the average young person has doubled in the last four years. Concerns over the impact of the internet and too much screen time on childrens’ development hasn’t stopped the amount of time that teens spend online watching videos from increasing. YPulse found that Gen Z has been raised watching online content, with 56% of 13-17-year-olds saying they watched their favorite shows and videos on YouTube when they were younger. A new study shows that the average time a young person spends watching content has gone up to 7.4 hours a day… and this is not including homework. (Newsweek, The Washington Post)
