YPulse’s social media survey found that TikTok has made it into the top 10 social media platforms teens use, and 60% of the app’s 26.5 million U.S. users are reportedly 16-25-years-old—but it’s no longer just young people who are using it. Moms who downloaded the app to understand their children, are continuing to post to TikTok themselves, creating a “thriving” community. The hashtag #momlife currently has over 1.1 billion views, and some are even going viral with content like celebrating divorces, grieving miscarriages, and posting fun videos with their kids. (WSJ)
