Self-care-obsessed young consumers are boosting the beauty sector, and American Eagle wants a piece of what the NPD Group reports to be a $18.8 billion industry. Before the holiday season, the retail brand plans to launch a beauty line, with their CEO saying that, “We have a special name for it, a special kickoff and we’re going to surprise everybody.” One thing we do know is that American Eagle is planning to ride the weed wave by bringing CBD-infused muscle balms, lotions, and more to young consumers.
