Love Island is a U.K. phenomenon that’s drawing in “youngish” U.S. viewers to CBS. Ten percent of the U.K. has seen an episode of the dating reality show, or a total of 6.1 million; in the U.S., just 2.33 million tuned in for the summer show on average. But it’s still a winner for CBS, ranking as its second-youngest show with an average viewer age of 56.8 years, just shy of Big Brother’s 55.4 years. That may not sound too young, but it’s actually much younger that the network’s runners-up: Elementary’s average viewer is 63.5 years old Blood & Treasure’s is 65.3. (AdAge)
