Instagram is asking cyberbullies, “Are you sure you want to post this?” Teens are being bullied on social media, and YPulse found that 72% are putting the onus on the platforms to do more to prevent it. Instagram’s new AI feature will identify harmful comments and when users press “post,” they’ll be asked to rethink their words. It won’t actually stop them, but Instagram says that early tests indicate “it encourages some people to undo their comment and share something less hurtful once they have had a chance to reflect.” (The Guardian)
