STEM toys are making a mess for Millennial parents. Toy sets full of thousands of tiny, buildable shapes are fueling kids’ creativity but becoming a “floor hazard.” Some parents are getting creative to keep organized by opening toy libraries that keep their kids from checking out too many pieces at a time. Brands are also helping: Magformers sells a storage box for their blocks and Brain Flakes is considering including a dust bin with their sets of hard-to-pick-up but less-painful-to-step-on flat discs.
