NBCUniversal’s ShoppableTV will let you scan to shop products from your favorite shows. Nearly half of all Gen Z & Millennials told us in our Shoppability trend that they’ve wished they could purchase an item they saw in a TV show, and 26% have actively tried to do so. Now, NBC is making it easy by embedding codes into “on-air shoppable moments” on channels like E! and Bravo. The network says that their first test of the feature on Today brought in “tens of thousands of scans and six figures in sales.” (THR)
