Camping is trending—and Millennial parents are blazing the trail. KOA found that 1.4 million households went on their first camping trip last year, and 56% were 22-37-years-old. The young demo is roughing it more than any other generation, accounting for 41% of total campers—a 7% jump since 2014. Out of those Millennials, over half are parents, and their top reason for camping is their kids. Of course, “roughing it” could be an overstatement: half of all campers said they were interested in trying “glamping.” (Curbed)
