Samsung’s new app asks daters to swipe right and left on the contents of potential partners’ fridges. “Refrigerdating” will work with Samsung’s Family Hub refrigerator, a high-tech appliance that lets owners see what’s inside their fridge from their phones. Those who believe “you are what you eat” can upload their fridges to the app, and swipe right on others' for “Let’s get cooking” and left for “Not my taste.” Whether the Tinder-style app makes any matches is uncertain, but one thing is clear: Samsung is earning a lot of organic press.
