The retail apocalypse isn’t over yet, and Charlotte Russe is its next casualty—announcing their liquidation plans shortly after Abercrombie & Fitch revealed they’ll be closing 40 stores this year. Young shoppers continue to upend the retail world as they expect the whole world to be their showroom, spend more of their money online, and patronize stores that care more about creating an experience than selling anything.
