Wendy’s is upgrading their in-restaurant experience with personalized playlists. The Millennial and Gen Z-favorite chain that has experience dropping viral mixtapes is teaming up with Pandora to create a series of playlists based on the “location, demographics, listening habits[,] and purchase behavior” of Wendy’s customers. The stations will be updated every eight weeks and customized by region. Over 800 franchises are already bumping the custom tunes, and 4,000 more are expected to follow suit this year. (Adweek)
