Dove is opening a “chocolate-themed hotel” in China. Mars’s retail hotel follows the success of their Dove Chocbar pop-up last year, which attracted 30,000 visitors and reached 152 million across social media. The experiential move is part of an ongoing effort to appeal to powerful Chinese Millennials seeking more premium products. To that end, Mars is also launching customizable Valentine’s Day packages and new flavors like matcha and red velvet. (China Daily)
