Lucky elementary schoolers will soon be playing Nintendo Switch to learn STEAM skills. In conjunction with the console, Nintendo and New York’s Institute of Play will be providing Nintendo Labo: Variety Kits, which let kids create DIY augmented reality experiences, like a cardboard piano with keys that correspond to musical notes on the Switch. The program kicked off in New York but is planned to expand to 2,000 8-11-year-old students across the U.S. in the 2018/2019 academic year. (Kidscreen)
