Gambling is coming to the esports world. Startup Unikrn was just cleared to roll out real-time sports betting to 20 countries, with the kind of betting allowed varying to accommodate each locale’s laws. In the U.S., that means skill-based betting will go live in 41 states, meaning that players can bet on themselves (but not others) while playing their favorite games. Unikrn’s CEO hopes that casinos across the U.S. will be the next stop, following their already-opened venue at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. (FP)
