Instagram is leveraging new tech to stop cyber bullying. Artificial intelligence can now detect bullying in both captions and images with text overlays. Also, users’ “Hide Offensive Comments” settings will automatically be switched on, and they can go more granular by filtering specific words from their comments. The platform has also teamed up with teen celebrity Maddie Ziegler for a “Kindness” camera, a filtering effect that showers positive comments and hearts onto selfies. (TechCrunch)
