Speaking of unexpected brand partnerships, Dunkin’ and Dove have teamed up to promote coffee and dry shampoo together as busy morning must-haves. The promotion started with a social media contest, where women were encouraged to post pics of their busy mornings with the hashtags #DoveXDunkin and #DxDSweepstakes to enter a contest for a year’s supply of dry shampoo and coffee. There was an experiential activation too: an NYC pop-up offered visitors giveaway items (including coffee of course) and styling appointments. (MediaPost)
