Millennials are killing divorce! Oh wait, that’s a good thing. The overall U.S. divorce rate has dropped 18% from 2008 to 2016, thanks to Millennials, who are more likely to stay married than Baby Boomers. A University of Maryland professor found that older demos divorced more often over time, while 18-34-year-olds’ divorce rates actually fell. They assessed, “One of the reasons for the decline is that the married population is getting older and more highly educated.” (Bloomberg)
