Amazon is betting on livestreaming. The company posted a LinkedIn job description for a Head of Content responsible for “bringing all types of live video ideas to fruition.” In addition, they own Twitch (which is huge for esports streaming) and they’ve been working on a new live-TV-recording device. Currently, Amazon has some live offerings (mostly sports content) but it looks like they’re trying to pull ahead in the streaming wars—and soon. (Quartz)
