Tinder is pulling in profit with its premium subscriptions, with business expected to double in 2018. Ypulse data shows 27% of 18-35-year-olds have used a dating app, and it turns out they’re willing to pay for it. Their Tinder Gold memberships at $14.99 and huge subscriber base are the top factors driving rising revenues. In the second quarter of 2018, the dating app added 300,000 new subscribers for a total of 3.8 million. (Recode)
