Bank of the West also found that about 40% think they made the wrong financial choices when buying a house, with one-third saying they “dipped into their retirement accounts.” Financial regrets aside, nearly one in five 21-35-year-old homeowners think they picked the wrong home, with some realizing it’s not the right fit for their family or discovering unexpected damages.
