YouTube is fighting fake news with a $25 million pledge for trusted news organizations. Meanwhile, searches for news and videos about conspiracy theorist’s favorite topics (think: the moon landing) will be paired with text boxes linking out to trusted coverage, adding on to their plans to tweak their algorithm and add a curated “Top News” section.
