Will kids tune in for “slow TV”? Daydreams, a new show from CBeebies, is slowing down scenes like “water falling over an umbrella” in a child-friendly take on slow TV for adults (which included programming like six hours of a crackling fire). The one-hour show was made for parents of children ages one-to-four who “are searching for calming music and lullabies,” and is available on BBC’s iPlayer platform and YouTube, where it has accrued nearly 50,000 views.
