The theme parks of tomorrow could be filled with location-based augmented and virtual reality experiences. The Void’s Star Wars VR experience at Disney World is a harbinger of things to come, and the activation’s success could convince Disney to buy the promising company. So far, The Void has created four Star Wars experiences, five for Ghostbusters, and has more (including one that will play on young consumers’ love of the horror genre) in the works. (Fast Company)
