Millennials tip less than other generations, according to a Creditcards.com study.

Jun 18 2018

Millennials tip less than other generations, according to a Creditcards.com study. They report that 10% of 18-37-year-olds routinely don’t leave a tip compared to 3% of older demos, and those who do tip leave a median gratuity of 15%, which is less than the overall. Is it any wonder they’re looking to save money when their financial priorities are focused on paying back debts and saving for the future? However, 27% did say they would rather pay more at a restaurant and not be required to leave a tip at all. (USA Today, Bloomberg)
