Freaky Friday is getting a nostalgic reboot as a Disney musical. The much-loved body swapping story has been redone three times now, in 1976, 1995, and 2003—meaning multiple generations has grown up with the tale. Nostalgia Entertainment is everywhere in Disney’s slate of summer programming, which also includes DuckTales. The movie will be available on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW, and Disney Channel VOD, as well as in an original soundtrack. (Kidscreen)
