Coca-Cola is serving up alcohol for the first time—but only in Japan.

May 30 2018

Coca-Cola is serving up alcohol for the first time—but only in Japan. Their new Lemon-Do premiered at a pop-up in three flavors ranging from 3% to 7% alcohol. This drink is a play on the popular Japanese drink, chuhai, and could mean that Coca-Cola is looking to expand into alcohol across more countries soon. More brands are experimenting with low-alcohol, fruit-forward, canned drinks to appeal to young consumers, and this wouldn’t be the first time Coca-Cola has tested a beverage in Japan.
