Gender-neutral baby names are more common than ever.

Mar 29 2018

Gender-neutral baby names are more common than ever. The scale just tipped on Charlie, which is now a girl's name over 50% of the time. Twenty-five percent of American Blakes are female, and the gender-neutral Parker, Jordan, and Riley have all risen through the ranks of the most common baby names. Overall, using typically gendered names has seen a steady decline because of The Genreless Generation’s tendency to blur gender conventions. (Quartz)
