Wanderlusting Millennials may actually prefer hotels to Airbnbs. Resonance Consultancy found that 52% of 20-36-year-old travelers “regularly or occasionally” stay at Airbnbs or other “owner-direct rental” accommodations, but when asked where they prefer to stay, short-term apartments and condos came in last. Full-service hotels took the top spot followed by staying with friends or family, at full-service resorts, and even camping. However, there's plenty of room in the industry: MMGY Global estimates 10% of U.S. Millennials are planning on taking more trips than they do now. (MediaPost)
