Diet Coke is getting a design and flavor “restage” to appeal to LaCroix-loving Millennials.

Jan 12 2018

Diet Coke is getting a design and flavor “restage” to appeal to LaCroix-loving Millennials. The classic can will stay on the shelves, but new, colorful skinny cans will get stocked alongside them in Twisted Mango, Ginger Lime, Zesty Blood Orange, and Feisty Cherry. The new flavors are a clear effort to “evolve with” young consumers’ tastes—as their preference for flavored waters has been impacting soda’s sales. Coca-Cola says the goal is “re-energizing and modernizing Diet Coke for a new generation of drinkers,” and rumors are that they explicitly mentioned going after Millennials at a company meeting.
