Wendy’s famously sassy Twitter team let users ask them anything on Reddit—and they had plenty of questions. Fans applauded their bold marketing moves, and wondered if Wendy’s especially edgy tweets directed at the competition (ahem, McDonald’s) ever put them in hot water with upper management. It turns out that while not all tweets have to be vetted, ones that take aim at competitors do—and yes, they’ve been “talked to” about the tweets before, but have never gotten in “big time trouble.” Stay sassy, Wendy’s.
