Gucci is feeling the love from luxe-loving Millennials, and it’s showing in their bottom line. Sales of the brand reportedly grew 49% year over year, and 55% of the sales were from customers under the age of 35. Millennials & Gen Z also told Ypulse Gucci was one of the top ten luxury brands they most want to own. Gucci swapped out creative directors, and the new exec has been spearheading designs with “a wide range of colors, patterns and periods, often in the same garment.” The new vibe seems to be a hit with young consumers right now, but “experimental consumers make more fickle consumers.” (WSJ)
