Taco Bell and Lyft are teaming up to delight late-night drunk riders.

Jul 27 2017

Taco Bell and Lyft are teaming up to delight late-night drunk riders. The new Lyft “Taco mode” will direct your car to the nearest Taco Bell drive-thru for a late-night snack from 9pm to 2am. The taco-themed rides start testing in California this weekend with plans to expand nation-wide next year. Late-night passengers are a key demo for Millennials’ fifth favorite fast food restaurant—Foursquare reports that 14.8% of Taco Bell’s clientele visited from 10pm to 4am. Lyft is hoping to scoop up some of those customers—but drivers are not thrilled with the promotion. (Business Insider, Fortune)
