Co-viewing is on the rise and YouTube is getting in on the trend. Their new social viewing app Uptime is now available to all for download. The platform adds the quirks of a social network to the co-viewing experience, letting users react to and comment on videos they can watch with their friends in real time. Unlike some other co-viewing apps, users also have the option to watch the video with all its accrued reactions at a later time. (TechCrunch)
